Been to our caravan this morning had a little visit to the new wetherspoons very impressive

We all had a lovely stay at Joanne and Carolynnes family caravan. Being a 3 bedroom the main bedroom was a little on the small side but the bed was EASILY the most comfortable we've ever slept in! The sofa in the living room was also extremely comfy and the general decor of the caravan was beautiful. The owners left a welcome basket for us on arrival which was a lovely touch, along with an informative folder of stuff to do/where to order food etc. Private wi-fi was a little bit spotty at times but to be expected but with youtube / netflix and prime video all available there was plenty to watch on TV when we wanted to relax. Added bonuses were an air fryer , coffee pod machine and a bluetooth speaker which were nice touches, although we never used them. Our hosts were readily available throughout the entire booking process and very helpful. Overall we were delighted with the value as the cost was substantially lower than we had previously paid for inferior accommodation and we would not hesitate to book with the owners again. We deducted 1 star on caravan facilities as there was no dressing table in the main bedroom and the only surface available had the TV and PS4 on it (We parked it under the bed for the duration of our stay!) and if we are Really struggling to criticise, It's maybe worth mentioning that since our last stay at Haggerston 5 years ago, a new bar has been opened a few hundred yards from the caravan so it was not as quiet at night as we had expected but again, not a major issue and any noise was over and done with by 11 o'clock. Overall we were all delighted with everything our hosts provided and would happily recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, cosy and relaxing experience within a sensible budget. Just back from an amazing four nights spent at family run Oakdale Caravan with our two young sons. The caravan was beautifully presented, clean and spacious. From the moment we walked in it felt homely and inviting. Situated superbly on the site close to the main amenities, it’s ideal for walking with young children. A real holiday feel and a truly relaxing few days spent there. We can’t recommend enough for anyone wishing to book to stay here…do it! Thank you Oakdale Caravan and its lovely host Joanne for allowing us to stay and making it all the more special with the bespoke hamper basket on arrival. We are already planning a September visit! 😃Mr Michael hay
