The long established campsite has offered excellent access to the mountains for many years, and is an ideal base for a walking or climbing holiday. The site includes a shower bloc
k and washroom, the use of which is included in the price of the pitch. The Plas y Brenin Center is located about 2 miles away offering instruction in all outdoor activities including canoeing, climbing etc. The Carneddau, Glyders and of course, Tryfan, provide fantastic walking direct from the campsite. It is also well located for many tourist attractions in North Wales, Including the northern hemispheres longest and fastest Zip Line at Zip World, Underground Cave Trampolines at Bounce Below, and soon to come the WORLDS Longest Underground Cave Zip Line!!! with so much to see and do throughout the year, no matter what the weather, you will never be bored at Gwern Gof Uchaf. The ground is suitable for all kinds and Sizes of tents, for as long as you want to stay. If it is your ambition to stay in a beautifully converted traditional agricultural building, then look no further, we also have a fabulous Bunkhouse on offer and offers very good facilities for up to 14 persons. These include:
