It's been a "blink & you miss it" kind of summer for us. Super busy with guests and family, interspersed with cooling down in lakes on hot days & early morning walks to beat the heat.
Social media has taken a back seat - sorry, not sorry! That is until today - I couldn't let Pip and Marble's 6th birthday go past as so many of you and your children have fallen in love with them. Here's Marble in all her fluffy glory 🩷.

💚The historic Miners' Bridge in Betws-y-Coed 💚

The Miner's Bridge spans the Afon Llugwy river in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and is a popular spot on the Betws-y-Coed to Capel Curig section of the Snowdonia Slate Trail

Originally built during the 19th-century Industrial Revolution, the unique wooden staircase bridge allowed local miners and quarrymen to save significant time on their grueling daily commutes to the Gwydyr Forest workings.

The existing wooden structure was completely swept away in February 2020 after torrential floodwaters rushed down the Afon Llugwy during Storm Ciara.

Now rebuilt and reopened, the current Miner's Bridge will be a stopping point for our Snowdonia Slate Trail walk on Sunday 4th October.
