Visitors coming to stay and spend some time in and around Betws y coed will perhaps be expecting to experience our trade-mark stunning scenery; towering, majestic mountains cradling sparkling, clear lakes, all bordered by rich, vibrant forest trails and chattering, meandering rivers. A little less well-known are the numerous spectacular waterfalls which adorn the landscape, providing that breath-taking rush of wonder as you gaze at the frothing torrent cascading over rocky outcrops of ancient granite. In Betws y coed & District we have many waterfalls to appreciate, right on our doorstep. Walking distance from Betws village are the famous Swallow Falls (pictured) and Conwy Falls, with many others just a short drive away.

🤣🤣 we did wonder x

Our church clock is starting the New Year suffering from b**gitis, a non-contagious condition which causes it to b**g too many times on the hour. As it struck 78 o'clock this morning, we have now stopped it, pending the arrival of an engineer. Please ensure you bring a watch with you if visiting St Mary's Church for now. 😁😁
