With the weather heating up over the next few days, we're appealing to the public to help prevent wildfires 🔥
We are urging people who are planning to go out and enjoy the nice weather to do so responsibly and help protect our communities, wildlife and natural environment.
- Do not light campfires, fire pits or disposable barbecues in the countryside.
- Do not leave litter behind. Glass bottles, cans and other rubbish can contribute to fires and put communities, wildlife and firefighters at risk.
- Do not discard ci******es on the ground or throw them from vehicles.
Wildfires can spread rapidly and cause significant damage. Every wildfire has the potential to put lives, property and the environment at risk. Please be responsible and help prevent them. Together, we can keep North Wales safe.
If you see a wildfire, move to a safe place, call 999 and ask for the Fire Service.
