It's hotter than many places in Europe today here in Betws-y-Coed . Fortunately we have plenty of shade trees, various pubs and Hangin' Pizzeria with canopies (and cold drinks) and the new Cornish Bakery deli with my current favourite drink which is an iced chai latte ☕
We have a few rooms left towards the end of this week.
We can't guarantee the weather but you are guaranteed a warm welcome here at Betws and Bod Gwynedd 🌴 🍮🍻⛱️

When Jackie held the fort (as I'd thrown my back)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The biggest compliment I can give Jackie and her B&B is that it felt like I was visiting a family members house and using their spare bedroom for a few days - we felt that relaxed. My partner and I felt comfortable, safe and well looked after during our three day stay. The reviews accurately reflect the quality of the location, quality of the room and the quality of the breakfast. If you're looking to visit Betws-y-coed (which you absolutely should) then you'll be in good hands with Jackie at Bod Gwynedd.

Our stay at Bod Gwynedd was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Jackie and Gary made us feel genuinely welcome.

Jackie, in particular, was incredibly attentive and a real asset to the experience—her knowledge of the local area was invaluable, especially when it came to walking routes and places to eat. (Gary 🙄😂)
Her beautiful artwork displayed throughout the property added a unique and personal touch that made the stay even more special.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was clearly thought through. The bed was perfectly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely fantastic—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. A lovely final touch was the homemade Welsh cakes we were given at the end of our stay, which truly summed up the warmth and hospitality we experienced.

We had such an enjoyable and relaxing visit and are already looking forward to returning.

Highly recommended!

Any of you that have been to Betws in the past 20+ years will know Iechyd Da Deli. Recently they have doubled in size with even more to tempt you. These tray bakes forinstance are sure to re-energize you whether you are celebrating a successful climb or relaxing by a lake.
Just another reason not to risk a passport problem or being turned away at a border!

If you are here for the May Bank Holiday be sure to checkout the Victoria Extravaganza in Llandudno. Buses and trains from the village centre are a good idea as parking is limited when this event is on.

Beautiful evening in Snowdonia (Eryri) this evening. Not a whisper of a breeze, flake of snow or drop of rain. We keep hearing of storms but we seem to have a habit of missing them🤞
We are open 12th Feb. following some major upgrades. Remember to Book Direct when you come. We all need a little help in these challenging times ♥️
