What a weird day for the weather again !!??
But, the rain, thunder & lightning didn't stop Rob Cartwright from enjoying a day's coaching with Robbo on The Tench Pond.
Rob used to fish with his brother many moons ago, but after his brother passed away he hadn't been for years. Rob contacted Robbo for a "refresher course" as he felt it was the right time to give fishing another go.
The session was aimed at getting Rob's confidence back and within a few minutes, he was into his first fish in years.
Rob landed several skimmers, perch, roach and even a goldfish in the session and has vowed to return in the very near future.

This is 12 year old Sam, who was visiting East Yorkshire on holiday.
Sam and his grandad, Paul, had travelled all the way from Maidstone for a family holiday at Bridlington and through the marvels of social media had seen an advert about "Angling Coaching Sessions" with Robbo at Risby Lakes.
A few calls later and everything was set for Sam to have his first ever try at fishing.
Both Sam and his grandad were amazed at the quality of the fishing and it wasn't long before Sam was into his first fish... and what a great way to start.
The smiles say it all !!!

This is 12 year old Theo, with a few cracking skimmers he caught on his very first float fishing session with Risby Angling Coach, Robbo.
Theo's mum, Kate, was really impressed by Theo's new-found angling skills and is already planning a shopping spree to get him some fishing tackle.
It was great to see the enthusiasm Theo displayed and his eagerness to learn was a credit to his mum.
