After a slight delay, our entrance sign is finally restored to its former glory after an unfortunate event a few weeks ago! 🎉

And after a much-needed lick of paint, we reckon it looks even better than before! ✨

Polite reminder: If you are visiting us today, we'd much rather you used the entrance… not the sign. 😬😂

We were blessed with another one of the many amazing sunsets we get here at Hopley’s last week. 🌅

Here’s hoping for plenty more this Summer Bank Holiday weekend! 🤞☀️

We can’t wait to welcome all of you for what’s set to be our busiest weekend of the year. 🏕️❤️

A little reminder before the weekend gets underway — please be considerate of your fellow campers and, most importantly, our hardworking staff.

Quiet time begins at 10:30pm 🔇 to give everyone the peaceful camping weekend they’ve planned and deserve.

🔥 FIRE ALARM TEST – TOMORROW AT 10AM 🔥

We’ve recently improved our fire emergency evacuation procedures onsite and upgraded our fire safety equipment, including a new siren designed to be heard further across the site.

As part of this, we’ll be carrying out a fire alarm test at 10am tomorrow morning, lasting approximately 1 minute.

🚨 Don’t worry – this is just a test! 🚨

We’re doing this to make sure the alarm can be clearly heard by our staff and customers across the site, particularly during the busy summer season.

There’s nothing you need to do, but please don’t be alarmed if you hear the siren at 10am 😅

Bank Holiday Glamping 🏕️

The last Bank Holiday of summer is just around the corner! 🙌

Got the Monday off work? Why not make the most of it and take the kids on a last-minute adventure? 🌿

And the best bit? No tent. No air beds. No faffing. 😎

Our glamping units come fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay - all you need to bring is your bedding.

And if you really want to switch off, The Rustic Kitchen can even sort the food! 🍕🍔

A little rain finally made an appearance last night… 🌧️🙌

And honestly, it was very welcome!

We’re not wishing away this amazing warm weather, but we are starting to miss seeing our fields looking this lush and green! 🌾

Throwback to when the fields were looking their best - because after such a long dry spell, they’re definitely still in need of a proper soak! 🛁

Come on, rain… just a little more! 👩‍🌾

⚠️Campfires & BBQs – continued ban

Unsurprisingly, we’re continuing our ban on campfires, fire pits, charcoal BBQs and disposable BBQs at Hopley’s until further notice.

The recent fires in Stourbridge have been incredibly upsetting, and our thoughts are with everyone affected. It’s scary to see something so serious happening so close to home, and it makes the risk feel even more real.

With conditions still extremely dry, we’re asking everyone to be extra careful. Our wardens are keeping a much closer eye out for potential ignition sources and fuel, including glass, cigarette ends and litter, which can all pose a serious fire risk in these conditions.

We know that campfires and BBQs are a huge part of the camping experience 🔥 — but as a business, we simply aren’t willing to risk the safety of our guests, our team or the surrounding countryside. We really hope you understand.

🚭 If you smoke, please avoid doing so around long grass, bushes or other dry vegetation and make sure ci******es are fully extinguished.

🪣 We’ve also placed additional sand buckets around the toilet blocks, which are paved areas and provide a safer place to dispose of cigarette ends.
