Westward Ho! was looking so beautiful on Sunday 🌊

Clear skies, fresh sea air and that wide open beach, one of those days where you could just take your time and enjoy it. You can also access the beach directly through Northam Burrows, which makes for such a lovely walk across the grassland before reaching the sea.

Definitely one of our favourite spots along the coast 🐚

Alongside your stay, we also offer a range of therapeutic treatments designed to help you unwind and restore balance. I’ve been a massage therapist since 2003, and over the years my treatments have grown to include integrated bodywork, homeopathy to support the body in restoring balance and vitality, and Vega intolerance testing to help identify food intolerances, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and overall body function.

Treatments can be tailored and combined into a more holistic experience, creating time and space to properly relax, reset and reconnect with yourself.

There’s something really special about soaking in the fresh Devon air, spending time in nature and allowing yourself to fully switch off for a while.

If you fancy doing something a bit different while you’re staying with us, take a look at the North Devon Wake Park only 1.5 miles from the BANYAN 🏄🏽🌊

It’s a great, fun place for all ages to spend a few hours, with Wakeboarding, AquaPark, Paddleboarding, Ringo Rides, a Sauna and Open Water Swimming.

Always a really fun day out with great food available too!

Then once you’ve tired yourselves out, you can head back to the BANYAN and enjoy a relax in the hot tub.

If you’re staying with us at the BANYAN, one place we always tell our guests to visit is Valley of the Rocks, Lynton and Lynmouth 🌊

It’s the perfect day out. Start with a walk around the Valley of the Rocks, then wander through Lynton before taking a ride on the famous Cliff Railway, the world’s highest and steepest fully water powered funicular railway, down to Lynmouth for a bite to eat or an ice cream by the harbour.

It’s a place our guests always come back talking about… and once you’ve been, you’ll understand why. 🤍

It’s easy to see why people keep coming back to North Devon…

One minute you’re wandering along a quiet beach, the next you’re watching the sunset over the sea, then you’re back at the BANYAN with the hot tub bubbling away, wondering why you don’t do this more often.

Whether it’s Clovelly, Westward Ho!, Hartland Quay, Bucks Mills or one of the many hidden spots along the coast, there’s so much to explore without having to travel far.
