Appledore - tea and cake at Market Street Kitchen and hanging out with my gorgeous friend, on a sunny Thursday morning 💛
I love Appledore, celebrated for its artists, crafts people and the Appledore Book Festival 🙌🏻
It was such a treat to wonder around the quay, stroll through the narrow, winding streets and stumble across little gems such as ‘The Market Street Kitchen’.

You HAVE to check out The Farmers Arms Woolsery only a 20 minute drive from the barn 😃 And I had my birthday lunch there today too - yey! 🎉🥂
It’s seriously gorgeous 💛 Not only is the recently renovated building and the interior design totally fabulous, the team who work there are SO welcoming and friendly, that we could have quite happily moved in ha ha.
Our snacks and lunch were totally yummy and I can’t wait to check out their evening menu!

It’s called ‘The Farmers Arms’ in Woolsery North Devon, just a 20 minute drive from 😃 And I had my birthday lunch there today too - yey! 🎉🥂

After a blustery walk on Instow Beach this morning, my friend and I (and her dog ‘Pixie’), headed into the newly refurbished ‘The Boathouse’ which is right on the sea front of Instow - with fabulous views over the estuary and Appledore, what more could you possibly want? 😃
I need to come back here to sample their menu! 💛

I LOVE home interiors and accessories and I can’t say no to a cushion 😍
I needed (I mean ‘we’ needed 😄) some extra cushions for the sofa, just to finish it off. And I hope you agree, this new addition looks pretty good 👍🏻
Now, it’s whether the husband will notice it?! 🙈🙈
