Thimble Cottage Hartland Situated in a wooded valley along a quiet lane on the edge of Hartland village is Thimble Cottage. Once an apple store it's now a romantic retreat for two!

Originally an old apple store sitting on land belonging to Tucking Mill, a renowned local builder purchased and renovated the property in 2004, and has been successfully running it as a holiday cottage since then. We purchased the property in May 2016, shortly after buying Primrose Cottage up the lane earlier in the same year, originally as a holiday home as we yearned for a bolt hole near the sea, but we soon fell under the Hartland spell and are planning on relocating here as soon as we can.

We've been sprucing up the decor this week, a big thank you to Louise Jeffery, painter and decorator in the village, we have gone for "tranquil dawn" !
I saw it for the first time this morning, it's quite a change, all ready for this weekend's guests now, we hope you like it?! 🤔🤞
