Thimble Cottage Hartland Situated in a wooded valley along a quiet lane on the edge of Hartland village is Thimble Cottage. Once an apple store it's now a romantic retreat for two!

Originally an old apple store sitting on land belonging to Tucking Mill, a renowned local builder purchased and renovated the property in 2004, and has been successfully running it as a holiday cottage since then. We purchased the property in May 2016, shortly after buying Primrose Cottage up the lane earlier in the same year, originally as a holiday home as we yearned for a bolt hole near the sea, but we soon fell under the Hartland spell and are planning on relocating here as soon as we can.
