Bulworthy Forest Lodges is tucked away down a picturesque tree-lined drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest in heavenly North Devon. Nestling in 25 acres of woodland teeming with flora and fauna, and boasting five well-stocked fishing lakes, this is the consummate setting for escaping to the country and losing yourself in perfect peace and good old-fashioned family fun. ruly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching. Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach are all within just 5 miles, there is a pub and shops a short drive away. Please note: Due to steep gradients Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

Fancy an active start to your weekend ?? There’s nothing quite like the feeling of fresh air in your lungs first thing in the morning ... and we are so lucky to have some fantastic options right on our doorstep !!

For those who love a bit of community spirit , the Bideford parkrun at Victoria Park is just a short hop away – it’s a lovely flat route and so welcoming !! Or , if you’re feeling extra brave and fancy a real challenge , you have to try the Woolacombe Dunes parkrun ... it’s famous for being one of the toughest ( and most beautiful ) in the UK !! That sand dune climb is definitely one way to earn your breakfast ...

Of course , you don’t even have to leave the woods if you don’t want to !! We have our own private extensive woodlands and trails right here at Bulworthy Forest Lodges ... perfect for a peaceful morning run or a long , lazy walk with the dog before everyone else wakes up .

And the best part ?? Coming back to your lodge to soothe those tired legs in the hot tub ... total bliss !!

If you're visiting us this month, trips to RHS Rosemoor and Arlington Court are a must for their stunning spring garden displays.

But there’s no need to stay stuck inside... we’ve made sure you can stay snug and enjoy the forest air whatever the weather!! We have 15 beautiful lodges in total, and 11 of them come with their very own private hot tubs. To keep things nice and dry, 9 of those hot tubs are fully covered... so you can soak away and listen to the rain on the canopy without getting your hair wet... pure bliss!! 🛁 ✨

And for those of you who love a bit of alfresco dining... 12 of our lodges feature covered outdoor cooking facilities and electric BBQs!! No soggy sausages here... just cozy evenings watching the trees while your dinner sizzles away... 🌭 🍷

Ever wondered what your four-legged friends are dreaming about ?? We’re sure it’s a holiday at Bulworthy Forest Lodges ... with 25 acres of private woodland to explore , it really is a doggy paradise !!

Watching them bound through the ferns and discover all those new woodland smells is just lovely ... while you soak in the tranquility and that fresh Devon air !! Whether they’re a high-energy explorer or a "nap on the deck" kind of pup , we love welcoming the whole family here ... humans and hounds alike !!

Our trails are right on your doorstep ... literally !! Step out of your lodge and be deep in the woods within seconds . No cars , no noise ... just the wind in the leaves and a wagging tail !!

After a long adventure , there’s plenty of space to relax together by the lake or back at the lodge ... pure bliss !!
