A little village appreciation ❤️

A big thank you to our local Paul for giving the pub a lovely shoutout at the village garden show a couple of weeks ago! 🌸🍻

We had a good chuckle at this brilliant limerick, “The Tourist” - and we’re rather pleased that, despite our windy roads and elusive village centre, the pub was easy enough to find! 😂

Thank you, Paul, for the kind words and for putting a smile on our faces. It’s little touches like this that make village life so special. ❤️

The Tourist (a limerick)

Your Welcombe roads are too windy,
And the centre I just couldn’t findy.
But here is the nub,
I’ve chanced on the pub,
So now I really don’t mindy.

Cheers, Paul! 🍻🌸
