Now the busy Bank Holiday is behind us, and perhaps you've chosen to leave it until the children are safely back at school;
If life is hectic at work or home - you definitely deserve a well earned holiday, even if only for a few days - and we have the perfect solution. ☑️

A short break at Sylvie's Country Cottage may be just what you need! 🏠

The image you see is of Mount Pleasant - fondly known as Peace Park.
More than just a scenic picnic spot; it’s a place of remembrance and reflection.
A favourite stop of mine, after the walk back up from Clovelly harbour.
I love to sit and catch my breath on a seat in this beautiful place, ❤
perched above the village cobbled street, just a short drive from the cottage.

My traditional cosy cottage is in a rural setting on the edge of Woolsery Village,
and perfect for couples snuggling up together.
If you're feeling energetic, you could cycle the Tarka Trail on hired bikes,
(we have a lockable barn for your own) 🚴

Splash about at the North Devon Wake Park just up the road. 💦
Or drive through the Devon countryside, exploring the villages and find a traditional country pub to stop for lunch. 🚗🍺

We have a deep bath to return to for a relaxing soak, before slipping into dreamland in a comfy bed. 🛀🛌

We are within walking distance of Mad Hatters Restaurant, a short walk around the corner serving great breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas.

Situated between Bideford and Bude, each offering huge stunning beaches, an Adventure Park and Waterpark just up the road, and a wonderful Garden Centre, where you can just pop around the corner for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

Self -catering gives you the opportunity to return at any time of the day, should you want a restful afternoon, or even spend a whole day, relaxing with a good book in the peace and quiet of our private garden. 📚
