Today my dodgy hip is having a good day, so I decided a lovely long walk with the dogs was the thing to do. I looked at the weather outside, (pouring rain), then I looked at the weather forecast (more of the same), so put on so much bad weather gear that I looked like I could survive wind, rain, hail, sleet, snow and probably a tolerably determined sword thrust. However, Tweedsmuir weather has zero respect for the opinions of meteorologists, and gave me sunshine, blue skies and a gentle breeze, along with the most stunning walk ever!

Very happy to report that the council has granted Bell Cottage a STL licence, we’re open for business! It’s a perfect place to relax after walks like this, thoroughly recommended by the Fabulous Border Boys!

I really like a bedroom to have the right combination of dressing table, mirror and somewhere to plug in the hairdryer… without a window right behind you. New dressing table in the double bedroom ticks all the boxes!
