⭐️ | 5 Weeks to go but only one week to get your booking in left!

Bookings will close on Saturday 22nd August! So if you don’t want to miss out on the 80th birthday bash get those bookings in!

We plan to have the ranges, a mix of bases from the decades and hiring in a climbing tower and some inflatables! Along with an afternoon tea party, camp fires and finishing with an evening of games and fun for those camping!

Don’t forget also we have a create a badge that you can send in to help shape the 80th birthday badge and those attending can be part of a decorate a cake competition!

After tonight’s government alert we just wanted to put a gentle reminder out about our current Fire Ban at the site and this will continue to remain in place!

🔥 IMPORTANT NOTICE – TEMPORARY FIRE BAN 🔥

At Blackhills Campsite, the safety of our visitors, volunteers and surrounding woodland is our top priority.

Due to the recent spell of hot, dry weather, we have made the decision to introduce a temporary ban on all fires across the entire campsite with immediate effect.

This means no campfires or fires in drums until further notice. We appreciate that campfires are a big part of the camping experience, but the current conditions significantly increase the risk of fire spreading, and we cannot take that chance.

We know this may be disappointing, but we’re sure you’ll understand that this decision has been made to protect our campsite, our wildlife, our visitors and the beautiful environment we all enjoy.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will let everyone know as soon as it is safe to lift the ban.

As part of our Blackhills Big Birthday Bash, we’re inviting all our young people and members to get creative and design a badge to celebrate 80 years of Blackhills Scout Campsite!

This is your chance to create something that captures the spirit of Blackhills. Think about camping, adventure, friendship, nature, Scouting… or come up with something completely unique!

🏆 The winning design could become the official badge for our 80th Birthday Bash, worn by everyone celebrating this special milestone.

📣 | We have new Bins!!

👀 | Have you been to site recently, as we have had a change to our refuse collection! We now have trade bins from Bradford Council instead of the skip!

♻️ | We now offer recycling too so please make every effort to separate your general waste and recycle materials!
