The Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest events in the horse racing calendar and it's just around the corner! From 14th-17th March this year, you can watch all the action live at The Duke Of Wellington Hotel & Bar Birmingham. Here are some of the major events that you should know about.

The Queen Mother Champion Chase, a two-mile race that sees some of the fastest and most skilled chasers compete for the coveted title. This race is named in honour of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, who was a passionate horse racing enthusiast.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup, is the most prestigious race of the festival and is considered the highlight of the National Hunt season. The race covers three and a quarter miles featuring 22 fences that horses must jump.

The festival promises to be an unforgettable event for horse racing enthusiasts and novices alike.
