Housekeepers required

Topmeadows Stays operate short term rentals (Airbnbs) in Birmingham and we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting opportunities available. Right now, we are seeking awesome housekeepers/cleaners to join our team.

You should have a good eye for detail, and truly understand the importance of creating a great first impression. You should be able to work under your own initiative and be happy working independently.

You must have some experience working in a cleaning or housekeeping role in a hospitality/hotel environment.

Our properties are located throughout Birmingham City Centre so you should be willing to travel short distances between jobs and you must have your own smart phone and own car would be preferred. We will also require our cleaners to wash and iron our linen off site and return to property after each clean ready for the next changeover .

KEY DUTIES

· Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.

· Dusting, brushing, polishing furniture.

· Cleaning appliances and structural surfaces (e.g. cookers, wall fixtures, window and window sills).

· Cleaning crockery, utensils and all other kitchen items.

· Changing linen, making beds and checking for damaged linen.

· Cleaning showers, bathtubs, sinks and bathroom items.

· Replenishing guest amenities and supplies.

· Inspecting rooms for safety hazards and for the operating condition of equipment and reporting same to maintenance.

· Reporting lost and found articles, maintenance problems to a supervisor.

· Preparing rooms for guest arrival.

· To be responsible for keys whilst in your care.

· To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities. To wash and iron linen off site ready for the next changeover.

· To ensure that all electrical items in the property are working as they should
To replace batteries and lightbulbs if needed.

· Other duties as defined as reasonable by the management of the company

Salary: £12 per hour

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:
All Week between 11am and 3pm

Schedules are subject to change depending on the number of guests we have that week.

Experience:

housekeeping: 1 year (required)
Own car preferred.
