Alongside the year round venues, the group offers the exceptional teaching and accommodation of Aston University in Birmingham. From July to September, an additional 600-700 ensuite residences are available in conjunction with an additional 50 meeting rooms, lecture theatres, syndicate spaces and teaching rooms including the 650 seater Great Hall.

These past few weeks we've been working hard on our latest project in response to feedback from our customers, and we're excited to share a preview of what we've been up to!

The wonderful Nia from our events team has been front and centre in the digitisation of our meet & greet process, bringing her knowledge and energy to our all-new videos showcasing our facilities for our customers. With this creative approach, we’re able to give event organisers a more in-depth view of our meeting room spaces, and inform them on how to utilise the facilities in the space as well as providing key safety information prior to their arrival on site for their event.

By having this suite of videos that can be referred back to at any time ahead of, or during, a meeting or event, we’re continuing to focus on improving the meeting room experience for all of our customers and our overall service to our guests to continue making their life easier.

While we're just putting the final touches on the edits to get them ready to launch later this month, we wanted to give you a quick look at what we've been up to and what you can expect from us as we continue looking for ways to elevate the experience for our customers...

It's that time of year again where the second city is excited to show our love and support for the LGBTQ+ community and enjoy another year of Birmingham Pride 🌈

To make sure all of guests with us for this upcoming wonderful weekend are primed for both the parade and the festival to follow, we've begun prepping our welcome desk space as well as some tasty pride-themed treats to show our support.

Our chefs have devised a delicious rainbow burger (with both a meat and vegan option available) for those looking to eat their fill for £14.95, while our team behind the bar have concocted a rainbow pride cocktail which is available by the glass for £8.95 or as a pitcher for £30 - you can even enjoy a cocktail and burger combo for £20 🍔🍹

On top of that, we'll have bottles of Prosecco Rose available for £25, while our usual menus will all have 10% off too so that you can make the most of your pride weekend with us as we welcome you and one of the city's favourite celebrations!

The Great Birmingham Run is taking place this weekend and we are incredibly excited to be right in the middle of the action thanks to the new route for this year which will see all of the runners finish at the event village located right where we are on the Aston University campus!
As we look forward to seeing runners, volunteers and supporters in the city for this incredible event, we wanted to share a message from our Catering General Manager Neil welcoming everyone stopping by Conference Aston and showing our support with a custom energising smoothie packed full of good stuff that our Executive Head Chef Paul has created for those taking part who are with us over the weekend!
