🕛 Late check-out at 1pm | Enjoy a slow breakfast, one last walk or another coffee with the view and check out at 1pm.

New Year means different things to different people. Some want a big night out and fireworks, others would rather see it in somewhere quiet with a fire going and nobody else around 🛖

If you're the second kind, we've still got New Years dates open, and Nidderdale on a clear, cold night is about as good a spot as we can think of to see the year out properly🤍

Want to make it a proper celebration? You don't need to know anything about sheep to love a Shepherd’s Hut 🤍

Ours come with a wood burner, a hand-built oak table just big enough for two, and a private wood-fired bath tub outside the door. Perfect autumnal escape? We think so too…

There's no telly in a Shepherd's Hut, and not much phone signal either, although WiFi is available should you want it. What there is: a cosy nook in your own part of the Nidderdale countryside.

The Morrell's got the one telly on site, perfect for when it's chucking it down and the hot tub's not quite calling your name yet. Not every stay at Haystacks needs to be outdoorsy. Sometimes, being curled up in bed and a film on is exactly the switching off you came here for.

The Morrell's hut includes a separate bedroom with a plush double bed, a corner seating area for when you fancy sitting up a bit longer, and its own kitchen with a hob, microwave and fridge if cooking in beats heading out. There's also a full bathroom.

Autumn Sundays at Haystacks 🤍
