A great way to travel and see the countryside
DalesBus services are improved in the Northern Yorkshire Dales National Park from this weekend, with DalesBus services 830, 831, 832, 858 & 859 operated by Arriva North East.
DalesBus 830 connects with trains at Ribblehead on the Settle Carlisle Railway CRP Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line, running to Hawes, then over the Buttertubs and through Swaledale to Richmond.
DalesBus 831 runs from Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington & Richmond to Reeth & Muker, then over the Buttertubs to Hawes (for Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre).
DalesBus 832 runs between Hawes, Ribblehead, White Scar Cave, Ingleton (for Ingleton Waterfalls Trail) and Kirkby Lonsdale.
DalesBus 858 provides an early morning journey from Darlington & Richmond direct to Hawes & Ribblehead through Redmire, returning later in the evening.
DalesBus 859 runs each afternoon between Richmond & Leyburn.
Combined with DalesBus 856, scenic tours around Wensleydale & Swaledale by bus are possible.
