💙 Culture isn't built in meetings. It's built in moments.

Last week, we celebrated Hilton Team Member Appreciation Week, a chance to recognise the people who make Hampton by Hilton Blackburn such a great place to work and stay.

From hot chocolates to pick 'n' mix, there were plenty of opportunities to come together, share a laugh and enjoy some well-deserved treats. 🌮🍦☕🍬

But the real value wasn't in what we ate.

It was in taking the time to celebrate each other.

Seeing colleagues catch up between shifts, welcoming new team members, recognising great work and creating moments that remind us why hospitality is such a special industry to be part of.

💙 Mental Health Awareness Week at Hampton by Hilton Blackburn 💙

This week has been all about the little moments that make a big difference.

From sharing positive affirmations with one another on Monday, to healthy treats from David on Tasty Tuesday, and getting outside together for Walk Out Wednesday yesterday (rain dodged successfully ☔)… It’s been a lovely reminder of the importance of checking in, and supporting each other.

Hospitality is all about people, and that starts with our team. Creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, and appreciated is something we care deeply about.

A kind word, a walk, a thank you, a coffee break with colleagues… sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that mean the most.

Here’s to continuing to look after ourselves and each other, this week and every week.

🌤️ The forecast? Continued greener stays.

Since installing our solar panels in October 2023, we’ve generated 90.1MWh of clean energy and reduced CO₂ emissions by almost 90 tonnes.

That’s roughly the equivalent of 🚗 taking nearly 20 petrol cars off the road for an entire year.

Not bad for something quietly working away above our heads.

At Hampton by Hilton Blackburn, we’re always looking for thoughtful ways to make stays a little greener, without changing the things guests love most. (Yes, breakfast and waffles are still very much on us.) 🧇

✨ A great day for our team here at Hampton by Hilton Blackburn

Last week, we brought everyone together for our April Town Hall, inductions and team celebrations, and what a turnout it was.

A huge congratulations to Tyler and Marcella on their well-deserved promotions. Seeing our team grow and progress within the business is something we’re incredibly proud of.

We also welcomed three new starters, kicking off their journey with us through induction and training, a brilliant start to what we hope will be a long and successful career with the team.

Days like this are a great reminder that behind every stay is a team that’s engaged, supported and ready to deliver at their best.
