To start 2019 off in style, we deemed it high time formal recognition was given to the continued commitment of event organisers to staging their event year after year in or around Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.
Anchor Events from Little Touches ® Hospitality are the bread and butter of our 52 Week Resort - take them in all on their own or use them as a starting point to build your Blackpool experience around, with every topping imaginable coming from our legendary Shows and Attractions.
From Pigeons to Pier Jam, Soul to Summer Bash and Magic to Marathons, they are the wide-ranging and much-welcome shows, conventions, sport and music events that are sprinkled throughout the new year-round Blackpool.
You'll find them complemented by Flagship Anchor Events, Blackpool's larger than life, Promenade and Tower Headland-busting occasions such as July's Blackpool Carnival, August's Air Show, Ride The Lights and Illuminations Switch-On and September's F-F-F four Friday's in a row World Fireworks Championships. Not forgetting the 8 thrilling nights of after hours riding and lighting up the night skies with Blackpool Pleasure Beach's 10am to 10pm Late Night Riding & Fireworks. To borrow a line from Disney, they are Blackpool's very own Extra Magic Hours.
