Please note:
All hotels in England are restricted from opening for tourism until May 17th. The govt has published a limited number of reasons for guests to book accommodation. Please make sure your booking is in line with the restrictions and you have the necessary documentation. We will be unable to process any refunds where the guest arrives in the Covid restrictions period without them. We are unable to accept bookings at our hotel for general leisure and tourism until May 17th.
Photo ID will be required at check-in
The categories that allow guests to stay at our hotel are as follows:
1) People who live in the accommodation permanently as their main residence.
Any person who is unable to return to their main residence, including non-UK residents who are unable to travel to their country of residence during this period.
2) Those isolating themselves from others as required by law.
3) Any critical worker that is part of the effort to deal with coronavirus, if the stay is necessary for their work. The list of critical workers was published by the Cabinet Office and Department for Education on 19 March 2020 and updated on 5 May 2020.
4) An elite athlete, their coach, or (in the case of an elite athlete under the age of 18) the parent of an elite athlete, if they need accommodation for the purposes of training or competition.
5) Those permitted to attend a funeral (that is: (i) members of the deceased person’s household; (ii) close family members of the deceased person, or (iii) if no-one within (i) or (ii) is attending, a friend of the deceased person), who need short term accommodation for that purpose.
6) To support or provide accommodation to the homeless, including through arrangements with local authorities and other public bodies. *Those who need accommodation while moving house.
Please ensure that your stay complies with one of the categories above and be prepared to provide evidence which will be required upon check-in.
Thank-you for your understanding and patience in advance.
