Its been a while since the last post, and the months have passed by. Now its near the end of August, and we are at the beginning of the Bank Holiday. Next weekend is the Illumination Switch On weekend, and we still have some rooms available, so give us a phone call on 01253 622775 to take advantage, two night minimum stays. Most of the weekends through September and October are booked. We have price reductions on midweek bookings though, when it is much quieter to see the Illuminations.

For all intent and purpose, thats 2022 finished now for us. Just the coming weekend, which is fully booked for the Northern Soul weekend. We are looking forward to that. We are then closed until the New Year, and again we are already fully booked. We will be opening up again for guests on the weekend of 1st April, and we look forward to meeting everyone, for a new year, and a fresh start. Many thanks to all our guests this year, particularly those who have taken the time and trouble to write reviews. We are fully appreciative of the comments that you write, which give us a bit of a moral boost.

So Liverpool has been chosen as the venue for the Eurovision Song Contest next year. And now we hear on the news that prices for accommodation have sky rocketed for the period. Well, guess what, Blackpool is only an hour away, by train and a little longer by car. We wonder how long it will take for people to realise that they can stay here and travel to Liverpool for the day??

The first night of the World Firework Competition has been postponed from 17th September to the October half term. It has been postponed due to the proximity to the State Funeral for HM Queen Elizabeth II.
