Just been having a good laugh this morning due to the news about The Hillsborough Law. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/l0057gp5/hillsborough-law-will-force-officials-to-tell-truth This will apparently force people to tell the truth. Has anyone told the criminals and liars about this?? I thought living life was all about telling the truth and not living a lie, plus in court before giving any testimony it was always said "I swear by Almighty God that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". So that was all a load of nonsense. How will this 'Law' as they put it, change anything???!!!!. What needs to happen is instead of tweaking things on paper and stating new rules that of course the criminal mind will ignore is firstly bring back the death penalty for people who are involved in the killing and murder of people themselves. If you have taken a life then expect to lose yours plus then make punishments stronger so the criminals will be less likely to be involved in criminal activity. Some will say "Oh no, we've moved on from the death penalty and it's all about peoples human rights". If there is someone who has killed someone what about the human rights of the person who was killed, the killer took theirs and their family rights so take theirs. Also when we have moved on, yes we have into a better time with DNA and Forensics so alleviating the problem of getting the wrong person. We have advanced so much, I really don't want to look after the murderers and killers in prison. Costing us more for everything!!!!!!
The government is to introduce what's been called a Hillsborough Law after years of campaigning by families affected by the disaster in 1989.
