I’d noticed that a few of my neighbours had bird feeding stations in their front gardens and thought I’d like to encourage the local wild birds into mine.

What I didn’t expect was a continuous onslaught onto my feeding station, reminiscent of a pack of hyena’s with a touch of piranha frenzied feeding on raw flesh with some overtones of Alfred Hitchcock “The Birds”.

After feeding, they flutter along to my waterfall pond, have a little swim and a drink and hop around the garden having a whale of a time.

I think my mission is accomplished lol!
