Important notice
It is with a heavy heart that i have come to one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but due to ill health I’ve been advised to stand down from the hotel.
I have loved the few years I was there and I have been lucky to of made some very good friends for life.
As some of you may be aware my health has deteriorated over the last 12 months, I have tried hard to continue but have now reached a point where this is unfortunately no longer possible.
The roof incident has been the final straw and after the loss of business this incurred, I have been forced in to bankruptcy despite all my best efforts.
All moneys due to guests WILL be fully refunded please be patient as this may take a few weeks to sort.
I am sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused.
Thank you to all my lovely guests for your support, kind words and well wishes.
It has been a pleasure to get to know you all.
I wish you all the best of luck and a merry Christmas let’s hope 2025 is better year for us all!

*UPDATE* The hotel will be closed for longer than anticipated, guests who are booked in will be refunded or deposits held for your next stay with us. We will be contacting all guests within the next 48 hours to discuss refunds.

ROOF UPDATE: Work has commenced on our roof. We will be closed from this Sunday 3rd November until POSSIBLY 15th November. Over the next week we will monitor the progress and if the work is going to take longer than expected i.e. further into November, we will inform any persons who have booked as soon as we know. ROOF UPDATE.
Scaffolding is going up from tomorrow (Thursday 17th). So hopefully work will commence on our roof soon after.
There will be many disruptions from now until the end of November (possibly longer). Therefore the hotel may be closing at some point for the work to be done. We will keep you informed of the progress.
Thank you for your understanding.
We will be open as normal from Sunday 27th October for those already booked (and for any new bookings).
