We offer quality relaxing breaks in a quiet homely environment therfore we specialize in breaks for couples / families with children 5yrs+/ solo travellers & event delegates only.Hence we DO NOT ACCEPT STAG/HEN OR GROUP BOOKINGS OF SINGLE OR MIXED S*X. We pride ourselves on our outstanding levels of Cleanliness / Hospitality & Customer Service. We are perfectly situated at the top of Hornby Road away from the hustle & bustle of the noisy nightlife & Ideal for event & conference delegates being only a short 5min walk to the Winter Gardens & Blackpool Tower as well as the Sealife Centre at the bottom of the road, Central Pier,The Promenade & Town centre.(The Pleasure Beach and Water Park are just a short tram ride away)

We have 8 en-suite rooms each with its own sense of identity. All rooms are modern & tastefully furnished & decorated with en-suite shower room, digital freeview TV. & free WiFi. All rooms have tea & coffeee making facilities with complimentary beverages,bottled water, galaxy hot chocolate & bronte biscuits. Bath sheets & hand towels are provided along with soap,shampoo & shower gel. As we have no lift all rooms are accessed by stairs to 1st & 2nd floor rooms .Sorry we do not allow pets or smoking within any part of the building, an outside smoking area is provided. CAR PARKING AVAILABLE TO PREBOOK.

We have been running our B&B since relocating to Lancashire in 2007. We’re both a little older now after nearly 20yrs here & while we still enjoy what we do, we have cut back our opening days & reduced our lettings to just 6 rooms giving us a bit more energy & time to ourselves to enjoy life & family time. We’re originally from Brighouse West Yorkshire where David used to be a travel agent & then ran the family business Bainbridges Newsagents in the town centre with Gill helping out in between her own job as a housekeeper/cook & nanny for a local family.

We decided we wanted a career change while being our own boss & chose Blackpool to own & run a B&B as David is very customer focused & good at front of house while Gill has OcD in cleaning rooms & cooks an excellent quality breakfast with good quality premium hand made sausage from a local butcher (not the cheap catering ones many places use , that’s her pet hate on a Breakfast) …. We chose Blackpool in the end over Whitby , Scarborough & Skegness because of the famous iconic Tower & Winter Gardens that attract so many events to be held here as well as the famous Blackpool illuminations.

David is football mad so if you’re into football, doesn’t matter what team he’ll talk the hind legs off you . So that's a bit about us & we'd love to welcome you into our home & get to know abit about you...

The Hornby Villa is a late victorian house very popular with many repeat guests because our high standards of cleanliness / hospitality / breakfasts & the presentation of our rooms which vary in size & price on our website:- hornbyvillahotel We don’t claim to be a luxury modern B&B or have very large rooms like you get in the chain named purpose built Hotels .. We’re a traditional family run guest house that’s been welcoming guests since the house was first opened in 1885 as a coaching inn. If it’s the traditional B&B experience you’re after with hosts that live on site & are hands on then give us a try.

We’re situated at the top of Hornby Road away from the hustle & bustle of the noisy nightlife but only a short 5 min walk to the Winter Gardens..The Sealife Centre,Blackpool Tower, Central Pier,Town Centre & the Promenade also a short 5-10min Walk. We have many repeat & regular guests who leave such positive reviews & quite often popular dates are sold out weeks in advance or the odd room left here & there so it’s best to book early with us to secure your room.

We don't accommodate Stags/Hens, Groups of Single Or Mixed S*x or late night nighclubbers as we specialise in quiet relaxing breaks in a homely environment.... We welcome Couples, Event Delegates , Dancers (inc Northern Soul Weekenders), The Solo Traveller & Families with Children 4yrs+-- Sorry but we also don’t accommodate Any Young Farmers for the Annual Young Farmers AGM.

Blackpool will once again transform into the ultimate destination for 80s music fans in the North West, as Blackpool 80s Weekender takes over the iconic Winter Gardens.

Spanning two unforgettable days, this is set to be the biggest 80s celebration of the year, bringing together legendary artists, guest DJs, and a full-on immersive 80s experience that will have fans dancing, singing, and reminiscing all weekend long.

The Blackpool Weekender will feature headline performances from some of the decade’s most iconic acts in the Winter Gardens’ Empress Ballroom, with further acts performing in the Arena, alongside an 80s themed quiz and after show parties plus further events to be announced taking place in the Pavilion.
