Fab night down at the switch on of Blackpool Illuminations. Gary Barlow did Blackpool proud, after The Script cancelled their performance 24 hours before they were supposed to perform.

We did it again, hotel inspector has just left.
A solid 3 star guest house, at the top of the rating.
I am so proud at this moment.
Thank you Brian, Pat, and Mandy for all your help and support.

Thank you to Lisa and Leila, their family and friends, for choosing Marston House again, for your stay in Blackpool, during the international dance festival.
Well that is it, high season has ended, now on with doing all the refurbs during the winter months ready for the new season.
We stay open throughout the quieter months, to allow for workers, hospital visitors, Christmas shoppers and our all year round guests to continue to stay here with us.
Can I take this opportunity to thank all my guests for choosing us and we hope to see you all again soon.

Here we go, fast approaching the start of the illuminations.
Bigger and better this year.
Little mix to turn lights on, promises to be another great night here in Blackpool.
Illuminations switch on 31st of August.
Come on folks give yourself a treat and visit the illuminations this year.

Our Enjoy England inspection has gone well.
We have maintained our 3 star status.
The inspector was very please with the new room 5
Standard have remained high and we are both really pleased with the report

Well here we go again, another season is fast approaching. I must say folks, it's been a long winter, however room 5 is now totally transformed. That room was a nightmare for me with the low flying beam. But thanks to Brian's hard work and vision it is now a cosy double room with a much more spacious en-suite. Hope all us hotels and guest houses have a good one this year, we all need it.
