Firstly, a stay at Hotel Claytou, means you’ll be sharing a street with a slice of motoring history. Our avenue was once home to William Walmsley and William Lyons, the creators of Swallow Sidecars, which later became the world-famous Jaguar cars! 🚗✨
We’re located just moments from the prestigious Queen’s Promenade, the beautifully landscaped Jubilee Gardens, the beach, and Blackpool’s famous trams, making it easy to explore the coastline while staying in a quieter, more relaxed part of town. We are close to many amenities too. Also just moments away is the fantastical Ma Kellys Showboat for you entertainment and sports lovers, Formulakart karting on the sea front for our adrenaline seekers, or, for those who enjoy the thrill of chance, there's Genting Casino too! Fancy something more relaxing? Try fishing on Gynn wall at the end of our avenue, bring your rod, no bait no problem! The bait shop's just moments away too! An added bonus, our streets don't require permit parking either! Not bad for a seaside stay, eh?!
