✨ A New Chapter for AGA Holiday Caravan Rental

Hi everyone,

We’re really excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of the caravan here at AGA Holiday Caravan Rental 😊

Firstly, we want to say a huge thank you to Andy for everything he’s done. We know many of you have had lovely stays over the years, and we’re honoured to be continuing what he started.

A little bit about us…We’re a family of seven – myself (Khyra), Richard, our boys Alexander (7) and Lochlan (8), and our little triplets (2) 💙💙❤️

As a busy family ourselves, we know just how important it is to have a comfortable, welcoming place to escape to – and that’s exactly what we want to offer you.

🏡 We’ll be continuing to welcome guests to Marton Mere, Blackpool but we'll be adding our own little touches along the way 🌼🌸🌷

You may also notice a new name appearing – Mere Escape – but the same great location and a family-run approach will remain at the heart of everything we do ❤️

We’re really looking forward to welcoming both returning guests and new faces, and helping you create unforgettable memories 🫶🏼

BLACKPOOL NEWS - UK CITY OF CULTURE 2029

Fantastic news! Blackpool is officially in the running to become the UK City of Culture 2029.

We’ve just been longlisted by the government which means we’re one step closer to hosting a massive, year-long celebration. If we’re successful, it would bring £10m into the town to create incredible arts and culture events for everyone to enjoy, while boosting tourism and creating new jobs.

Blackpool has committed to bidding for both the City of Culture 2029 and Town of Culture 2028. The first step is already underway, with an Expression of Interest for the Town of Culture title set to be submitted before the 31 March deadline.

While not technically a city, Blackpool is the 45th largest place in the UK. With a population of 141,500 and a visitor economy valued at £2bn, the town more than meets the bidding criteria for both exciting competitions.
