When staying at Dalgreine you can relax in our comfortable guest lounge. It comes complete with maps to plan your walks out, local information books for day trips and a swap library for when you’ve finished your holiday reading. We also supply fresh milk in the lounge for tea/coffee and glasses for any drinks you have brought with you.

New for 2026 at Dalgreine Guest House is a secure bike storage facility. Guests will no longer have to battle the chaos that is my garage to store their bikes overnight. So thanks to the Cairngorms National Park who have an excellent policy of developing tourism, and greener sustainable ways of travelling around the area. We are of course fortunate to be on the National Cycle Route 7 which runs Glasgow to Inverness. And not forgetting the Lands End to John o’ Groats challenge. But thanks too for the hard work of the Blair Atholl & Struan CC for pursuing the project.

Winter is coming and our hours are changing from October. We also have some events coming up to escape the winter blues.

Our shiny new MPLC Licence allows us to show movies and we’ll be kicking off our first night with The Hundred Foot Journey. The first kids screening will be Gnomio & Juliet. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

A lovely afternoon spent out on the water at Loch Tummel, the weather was stunning and the views to match. Hope you’re all enjoying another burst of summer sunshine as we head toward autumn in a few week’s time; but if September is as good as last year we’re in for a real treat once again

The flowers in the Dalgreine garden are just starting to come out nicely now, although the tulips are probably at their best just now. We’ve done some planting of perennials this spring so we’re hoping to see them flourish over the next few weeks or so! Curious lack of rain though this spring, even the River Tilt through Blair Atholl is looking really low. I’m sure come the start of summer the rains will return 😳🙄
