Kirkmichael, is a picturesque village set on the banks of the River Ardle, centrally located in the Highlands with easy access to many of Scotlands tourist attractions. Some of Scotlands most iconic castles and stately homes are within an hours drive away. Whichever is your preferred tipple, there are several gin and whisky distilleries close by to tour and try and wet your appetite. For outdoor activities you are spoilt for choice! 'The Cateran Trail' a 64 mile circular walking route is on our doorstep as well as many other circular walking routes, with majestic munros and riverside rambles, we are a walker's paradise. Skiing and snowboarding, cycling and fishing and highland safari's are also within easy reach. The countryside is alive with wildlife, you can often spot red squirrels, deer and a range of birds in our beer garden or venture out in search of a majestic stag, golden eagle, osprey, grouse or much more.
