Simon Jones is a local maker whom we've gotten to know over the years, and we've always enjoyed the mix of rustic playfulness with colour, shape, and form.
Nuthatch is peppered with Wildwood pieces, from big plant pots, to salt pigs to a variety of mugs on the shelf hence, when we wanted something bespoke and huggable to share as part of our winter 'hibercation' offering, Wildwood Ceramic Studio was a natural place to go.
We pair this mug with a taster from one of our favourite hot chocolates makers, Meredith, from Calm Cocoa mindful hot chocolate to set you up for a cosy evening around the firepit, wrapped up warm - imagine being snug in your gorgeous Sprig Textiles scarf - and enjoying the stars ✨️

Relaxed fine dining and award-winning afternoon teas can be found at our next prize partner.
Tudor Farmhouse | Boutique Hotel & 2AA Rosette Restaurant offers much more, too. A myriad of experiences such as wildlife safaris, crafternoons and foraging adventures, beautiful rooms and suites in which to stay, and a menu that includes homegrown ingredients and the best cocktails (including alcohol-free) in the forest.
Nestled in the heart of the drama of the forest - Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves are nearby - as a local, it's a favourite of mine for a change of scenery. I'm a little prone to their two-course lunch or a really good sandwich and twice-cooked chips 🙊 whilst I do some writing and deep thinking.
They're offering an afternoon tea for two for our birthday competition and I can't think of a better place for it.

Prize partner no.1: a local favourite for all things seasonal and delicious.
Post. is known for its dedicated team and a menu that changes regularly, built around produce from its own smallholding and the surrounding area.
The restaurant and bottleshop (a beautifully curated selection of wines and ciders) sits in the historic riverside village of Newnham-on-Severn, in a beautifully reimagined former Post Office.
The savoury and sweet buns being offered up as part of our 3rd birthday competition are made fresh in-house for leisurely weekend mornings with some exceptional coffee that is roasted in the nearby market town of Ross-on-Wye by the knowledgeable team at James Gourmet Coffee Roasters.
The perfect way to start a weekend retreat to the Forest of Dean (Forest of Dean & Wye Valley).
