Feeling a little heartbroken today. We had some lovely guests staying with us for the last few days. The kind that we’d love to have stay again, only that won’t be the case. On leaving David told us he had terminal prostrate cancer, and only a few months to live. He had a message he wanted to get across and that was for all men over 40 to get their PSA levels checked regularly. He had had no symptoms apart from an aching hip (which turned out to be a secondary tumour), his PSA levels were over 3000. We cried a little with them when they left and I was thinking whether there was anything we could do. Hence this post GUYS GET YOUR PSA LEVELS CHECKED, it could save your life 💙

Testing out a new breakfast special…smoked salmon, asparagus & poached egg on an English muffin with homemade dill hollandaise sauce. It’s a bit yummy!
