The Little Barn has also been undergoing a little TLC. The double sofa bed in the living area has now been upgraded to a full comfortable king-size bed for those that would rather sleep on the ground floor, or extra guests.

Plenty of wood for the woodburner to keep things cozy whilst we still have cold evenings.

We still have some April dates available.

Its that time of year again, getting ready to open the Woodland Hideaway at the end of March, plenty of cleaning, tidying, painting going on to make it perfect for our next guests. The Fluffy is there of course inspecting everything we do to make sure its up to scratch 🐯

Another beautiful day in gorgeous Somerset :)

The cows are now on holiday so we can begin the preparations to welcome this years campers in the field.

Watching the vintage tractor from Anchorage Farm Produce top the field where their cows normally live, is a lovely thing to watch. Straight out of an old ladybird book :)

As you would expect, we have a lot of wildlife around Marshwood, but at this time if year, we get to see and hear a lot more of our favourite resident.

Meet Squeaky, our beautiful little owl. No bigger than the palm of your hand. He sounds like a squeaky toy and is super cute.

Spring has officially sprung :)
We have beautiful calfs holidaying in the field, the chickens and ducks are laying beautiful eggs, the daffodils are out in all their glory and the Woodland Hideaway is looking particularly lovely.

We are now working hard to get the Geodome ready for our first guests of the year at the end of the month

We have had a few beautiful crisp mornings here in Blue Anchor and we are getting ready for the year ahead :)

There is blossom on the cherry trees, the chickens are happy and laying beautifully coloured eggs and we are busy tidying the Woodland Hideaway for our first guests at the end of the month 🌟🌟😍

It's that magical time of year and we are excited to welcome our first guests for a Christmas getaway in the little barn.. we have added a few cozy rugs, extra snuggly bedding, fire wood for the wood burner and, one or two christmas decorations to make it extra special.
