Yesterday was the Ten Tors challenge. A 13 mile circular charity walk from St Breward taking in ten tors of Bodmin Moor including the highest Brown W***y, Rough Tor and finally Alex Tor. The weather was kind, the scenery stunning and it was an exhilarating 5.5 hours. Add on 5 minutes if you want to do it from the doorstep of the cottage!

Well Molly hated storm Goretti but thankfully this morning everything seems to be ok. Lost power for about an hour or so but was fully prepared with thermos and candles, torches and phones charged. It was quite something and very loud! Lots of trees down in surrounding areas and people still without power so we’ve come off quite lightly. 108mph winds recorded in Padstow! Solid as a rock and open for business!
