That’s the thing about going vegan - it isn’t actually a radical shift. We don’t stop eating, we don’t stop buying stuff. We just switch it out. We want a burger? We buy a vegan one. We want a pair of cowboy boots? Buy a vegan pair. We have the INTERNET y’all - it is so easy. It’s as easy as a quick Google search. We have delivery services, we have vegan options everywhere. To NOT make the kind choice is a deliberate act of cruelty. 99% of animal products in the US come from factory farms. And I think pretty much everyone knows by now that these are awful, immoral places. But they buy animal flesh with fake “humane” labels - which is kind of ridiculous if you think about it. Can killing an animal at a fraction of her normal lifespan be considered humane? And most of these labels are bunk anyway. The animals were raised in factory farms just like the rest. Y’all, it’s so easy to make a difference - your actions matter! STOP participating in the worst moral atrocity of our time.

Please consider becoming a MEMBER of our growing community if you are able.

Every little bit helps and together we can build the momentum to make a real shift. Our story of cattle ranchers who went vegan is a powerful one that threatens the narrative of the American cowboy that pervades Texas and all of the US.

To look away from the horror we cause animals is a moral crime. Those who purchase their flesh, blood and bones at the grocery store are enabling extreme ultraviolence to occur. Yet Animal Ag grotesquely twists the message to paint vegans and animal rights activists as extremists. When we are the ones speaking the truth! We are the ones holding up the mirror! People don’t want to look in the mirror. They don’t want to confront their participation in a system of mass bo***ge and killing of sentient beings. They don’t want to see themselves as animal abusers. They’d rather buy the convenient lie of happy farms to avoid guilt. True, they are not pulling the trigger. But they ARE paying the assassin. When will folks stand UP to the crowd, stand UP to the lies of Animal Ag, stand UP for the lives of helpless souls, trapped in a hell of human making? We are capable of so much good but also the most diabolical evil. We always have a choice. What’s yours?

Will you help us in our life saving mission by becoming a MEMBER at https://buff.ly/4jnHvCq 🔗

I made my choice in 2014 when I STOPPED being a cattle rancher's wife and started being an ethical vegan activist. I crowdfunded our way out of animal ag and into being a sanctuary for formerly farmed animals. Together, my husband and I have rescued abandoned FFA and 4-H projects and all kinds of animals who were destined to die a horrible early death. Our members power our organization, allowing us to save farmed animals and give them the life they truly deserve.

Tina was truly amazing and an inspiration

"For sixteen years, her husband beat her.
But on this night, Tina Turner washed the blood from her face, wrapped a cape around her bloodied clothes, covered her eyes with a pair of sunglasses, and placed a wrap on her head, because the swelling was so bad, she couldn’t wear her wig.
She ran out of the hotel, hid among the trash cans, and then ran to the Ramada Inn, where she begged for a room.
All she had was thirty-six cents and a Mobil credit card.
But after sixteen years of cruelty, she finally walked out on Ike Turner.
To be clear, it wasn’t easy. She was so worried about her safety, she stayed with friends, paying her way by keeping house. It got so bad that Tina Turner—the Tina Turner—had to use food stamps.
And yes, it’s incredible that Tina Turner built her career back from nothing.
But what’s even more incredible is the battle cry she repeated inside her head—the battle cry that gave her strength: “I will die before I go back.”
Never forget it: No matter how deep the hole is, you can always find a way out.
In their divorce, Tina Turner gave Ike nearly everything. All their money. And the publishing royalties for her compositions. “You take everything I’ve made in the last sixteen years,” she said. “I’ll take my future.”
