For anyone interested in Scottish music and culture you might be interested in these workshops in Lairg this Saturday the 13th followed by concert in Rogart in the evening with these lovely, professional musicians 🎶

This Saturday in Lairg there is a fantastic opportunity to attend a Gaelic singing and a song writing workshop with Rachel Walker and Aaron Jones.

There are spaces left in both workshops and we’d be delighted to see some of you there. You don’t need to speak Gaelic to attend and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you can pick things up.

It’s been on my mind to head up Cnoc a’ Chlaiginn (hill of the skull I think) at this end of the Struie since it’s been cleared of trees, so today Jess and I popped up to see what we could see 👀

What a great view there is of Struie hill, across the Kyle of Sutherland to Bonar Bridge and Migdale, as well as quite a few of the hills including Ben Klibreck and Ben Mòr Assynt.

Tomorrow night in Lairg hall. A lovely night of Gaelic song and music guaranteed 🎶

And…Blazin' Pizza will have their van at the hall from 6pm until the concert starts for anyone fancying a pre concert treat. They’ll even have a haggis topped choice 🍕
