Dalhousie Castle, in miniature 🏰

From our familiar towers to the autumn colours of the ivy, this wonderfully detailed model captures so much of what makes our castle so special.

Created by Keith Crawley of Keith Crawley Art, the project took around three months of careful work. Using photographs taken here at the castle and aerial footage for reference, the castle model was constructed in separate sections, before painting and adding the windows to bring everything together.

One detail we particularly love: the miniature trees were made using twigs from a rosebush in Keith’s own garden! 🌿

Thank you, Keith, for the patience, skill and imagination that went into recreating Dalhousie so perfectly.

The model is now on display in our entrance hall for guests to admire. On your next visit, take a closer look and spot the turrets, battlements and winding rooflines that give our historic Scottish castle its character.

A little look back at our Wedding Open Day…✨

Last month, we opened the doors of Dalhousie Castle, bringing together beautiful styling, incredible local suppliers and a little taste of what a wedding at the castle can feel like.

From light-filled celebrations in the Orangery to candlelit tables within the historic walls of the castle, the day was all about showing just how differently Dalhousie can be made your own.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the wonderful suppliers who helped bring the castle to life for the day 🏰
