A quick game of table tennis that turns into a family tournament. Plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and someone insisting they definitely touched the net.

Our barn is the perfect place to gather, whatever the weather. Whether you're keeping the kids entertained, settling an old rivalry, or simply enjoying time together, it's all part of making memories that feel wonderfully uncomplicated.

Thinking of treating yourself? Here's why a yurt might be worth the upgrade...

Our 4 yurts are wonderfully spacious, with beautiful billowing interiors, a traditional skylight overhead, and large windows that let the countryside in. They're designed to feel cosy and calming, while giving you that little bit of extra room to truly unwind.

Perfect for families or groups of friends, each yurt sleeps up to five guests, with a comfy double bed, a day bed, and space for additional single beds. Outside, you'll find your own seating area and Weber BBQ, ready for long summer evenings under the stars.

It's all the joy of sleeping close to nature—with just a little more space to stretch out, relax, and make yourself at home.

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of hosting Imagine Neverland for their annual summer party.

Verity got in touch with us with the following introduction: "We are Neverland, an independent ad agency based in London. We're currently planning our summer party, and thought your venue looked PERFECT! We're looking to do an overnight stay for about 50 people, including activities, a sit down meal, awards show and evening celebrations."

Working carefully to their budget, we designed a bespoke package to include delicious dining (both a picnic style lunch and elevated supper club style dinner with our catering partner, ), funky beats provided by our awesome DJ, Matt, and a memorable overnight stay in our charming bell tents and yurts which they coined Camp Neverland. Being so close to London, the Neverland team took the Thameslink train from Central London to Elstree & Borhamwood (just 25 mins!), giving them a countryside experience all the while being a hop, skip and a train from the city.

Long evenings, the sound of birds settling into the trees, a morning coffee outdoors, and a sky full of stars that somehow feels brighter when you’re away from the everyday.

Glamping gives you all the joy of being close to nature, with the comfort of a proper bed and a cosy place to call home at the end of the day.

If you've been thinking about taking a little break this summer, July is a lovely time to do it. Pack light, switch off for a while, and let the days unfold at their own pace.

The school holidays are upon us (gulp!), and what better way to enjoy this super sunny summer than a night away in nature. Alliteration aside, it's always such a pleasure to host families choosing to create wholesome, long-lasting memories in our meadow.

Kids just know how to be in nature, it's truly inspiring to us tech-drenched adults. They run, hide, play, create, explore, forge friendships with other guests and tire themselves out without asking for screens. We often see parents arrive to the farm a little worn out and perhaps a little anxious about spending a night away from home comforts and their usual arsenal of tricks to keep the kids busy, and leave smiling, rested and connected. The irony is, sometimes glamping means less parenting because the kids are off keeping themselves entertained. It may even mean you can pack that book you've been meaning to finish...

For once it seems we can promise the weather, well at least as far ahead as the long forecast shows, and with prices starting from £125 mid-week there's never been a better summer to get outdoors.
