From keeping our rooms spotless to supervising busy shifts on the floor, Tanya is an absolute superstar at The Grantham Arms.
Role: Front of House Supervisor / Housekeeping

Local Roots: Originally from right here in Boroughbridge!
A quick Q&A with Tanya:
What led you into hospitality? "My mum! She grew up working in the industry and has always been a massive inspiration to me."
What experience do you bring to the team? "Before joining the team here, I was Assistant Manager at The Ship Inn in Aldborough for almost 12 years. I also hold a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership."
What do you love most about your job? "I love making people happy and helping families relax and enjoy their visit—especially during our big themed nights, Christmas parties, and busy weekend shifts when we have a full house!"
Favourite way to unwind: "A cold, full-fat Pepsi! Outside of work, I love gardening, going for walks, and spending quality time with my kids."
Best advice for someone starting in hospitality? "Be yourself, and remember that you can never ask too many questions."
