Some After and Before photos of Fernleigh over the last ten years. We knew as soon as we walked through the front door in 2016 that this house was special. It had ‘that’ feeling. We knew the previous owner who was very elderly and super specific about who she did and didn’t want to sell to. Luckily we passed the test ❤️. It’s taken so much love to bring the cottage into the 21st century. New walls, roof, wires, pipes and floors. That was before we got to the fun stuff! We reused whatever we could, retaining the history and all the feels. Now Fernleigh is a cozy retreat from the crazy hectic world we find ourselves in, but with fast broadband and a kitchen that works 😂

We’re very proud to have been able to contribute a stay at Fernleigh as a prize in Steve’s big fat raffle. Steve has brain cancer and needs your help. There are some amazing prizes Coldplay, Beyonce, Stereophonics, Florence, Kylie and Lionel Tickets etc ... you can even meet McFly (if that’s your bag). Holiday Home Stays, Afternoon Teas, Posh Hampers galore, Theatre Tickets, even a flight in a plane! It’s tough times for a lot of people right now, we know that.
