Our Kara Mia holiday cottage on the Porky Wrights smallholding offers a relaxing and tranquil break for couples and fa

milies alike. It’s a detached, two double bedroom bungalow with a main bedroom king-size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The property has a bathroom with electric shower over the bath, and a toilet, it also boasts a separate toilet along the hallway. The lounge is spacious, with two sofas, TV and cosy log burner. The lounge leads onto a sunroom with garden aspect and a pool table to keep guests entertained rain or shine. The property has WiFi. The garden has a sunny aspect, is a good size and fenced to keep little ones from wandering. The front aspect has views across the road to open farmland. We have off road parking for two cars. We are located on the outskirts of Old Leake, 20 mins north of Boston in a rural setting but within walking distance of our local pub The Butchers Arms. Old Leake has a Co-op store 5 minute drive from the cottage. The immediate locality is perfect for country walks, cycling and photography. A 10 minute drive away is the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, we are also very close to the Freiston Shore RSPB reserve. Many other attractions are within short drives, for example, Batemans Brewery, The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, and Boston has many heritage attractions to visit. If you fancy fun days out in Skegness, well that’s just a 40 minute drive away, the beach is great and it has plenty of parking. The Aquarium is well worth a visit. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve offers great walks and fantastic coastal scenery. Fantasy Island Theme Park – just a little further from Skegness offers fun and exhilarating rides. Our smallholding boasts a small herd of rare breed pigs, we sell amazing pork and sausages from the property. Guests will be offered escorted tours to visit our animals and meet the pigs as part of your stay. Your holiday location is next to our working smallholding, so please expect some farm traffic and occasional farm smells! We are on site to meet and greet visitors, deal with any issues and ensure you get the most from your stay. Kara Mia Holiday Cottage
Nestled in rural Lincolnshire, the Parish of Old Leake. Located perfectly between Boston & Skegness. Kara Mia is part of the Porky Wrights Smallholding. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, the main has a Kings Size bed and the other two comfortable singles. There is a very cosy lounge with a log burner and a sun room with pool table, We have welcome guests from all over the Country and abroad. We have had guests who find the place ideal when visiting friends and family locally. We welcome up to 2 medium sized dogs and the garden has proved quite secure.
Off street parking and the local pub being The Butchers Arms is a 15 min walk away.
This is ideal for couples or families alike.

Woodpecker Shepherds Hut

This is in its own paddock on our smallholding for couples or singles. Fully equipped with ensuite toilet & shower, kitchenette and a comfy double bed. There is a log burner for the chillier nights.

Quiet and peaceful location exactly what we needed after a busy Christmas. Cottage was amazing, so cosy and warm with a log fire with plenty of wood supplied. Pool table was great and our teenage boys spent a lot of time on this throughout our stay. Thank you Daniel for being an amazing host.

Came here for 4 days , honestly an amazing place to stay. , very friendly & so peaceful & relaxing , everything you need in the bungalow & so clean & spacious , really had the best 4 days & didn’t want to leave , definitely be going bk , I’m in a wheelchair & managed so well with my carer , Dan a lovely man & took us to see the piglets , sheep n & chickens , def recommend esp if you want a peaceful private bungalow , Thankyou for such a lovely stay
