The Lodges at Wood Enderby

We are really enjoying watching the Typhoons this week, during their exercises, flying over The Lodges 😍😍

A reminder for our neighbours and the nearby communities that RAF Coningsby is next week, starting on Monday 8th June 2026 and finishing each day at around one o'clock in the morning (01:00) local time.

The week’s night flying should finish at around one o'clock in the morning (01:00) local time on Thursday 11th June.

Night-flying is a vital skill that needs to be taught and then maintained in order that aircrew and supporting personnel can operate effectively on the front line.

Sad day at The Lodges as our little Snowdrop passed over the rainbow bridge last night. She had been up and down a few weeks. Nest in peace lovely little girl 🌈🐓
On a happier note we might have saved our Lillian ( our oldest rescue almost 3 years free) once more. We know she is slowly deteriorating, but today hopefully another abdominal drain may have given her more days 🐓

Our little Daisy crossed the rainbow bridge overnight
10 months free and a beautiful little soul. So full of character and confidence.
She had reproductive issues from intense egg laying as an ex batt girl rescued by BHWT. But she had a home, a short but happy retirement and she was very loved.
Nest in peace little lady 🌈🐓###
