Our Story

Our story began back in 2004, when the Wilton family were inspired to set up a chocolate business after seeing the first cascading chocolate fountain. They quickly snapped up the second and Chocolate Delight was soon hiring out fountains for film premieres and celebrity weddings, including Peter Andre and Katie Prices.

In 2006, the Wilton family expanded the business and bought a beautiful but outdated 19 century grade II listed hotel. By Christmas 2007, restoration was complete, and the world’s first chocolate themed hotel was born.

The Chocolate Boutique Hotel has become a perfectly unique venue for any inspirational team building challenge or to simply reward employees for great results. With challenges ranging from Apprentice-style events to chocolate portrait painting, or simply treat them to a Belgian chocolate truffle making workshop.

Whether you’re planning to celebrate a birthday, mark an anniversary, hold a girlie get-together or even entertain three generations of the same family, we can lay on all manner of activities involving copious amounts of chocolate.
