We were absolutely thrilled to see our very own Sophia Wilson recognised as a finalist in the Level 2 (Intermediate) Apprentice of the Year category at the Dorset Chamber Apprenticeship Awards 2026. 💛

The awards celebrate the achievements, commitment and impact of apprentices across Dorset, and with such a strong field of entrants this year, reaching the finals is a fantastic accomplishment.

Sophia's dedication, enthusiasm and hard work make her a valued member of the Marsham Court team, and we couldn't be prouder to see her achievements recognised alongside so many talented apprentices from across the county.

Here are some of the we had at the April writing festival.

We'll be back in the same room at the Marsham Court Hotel Bournemouth on Saturday 3rd October with six different literary agents offering 15-minute 121 sessions.

You'll be required to submit a covering letter, synopsis and your first 10,000 words (or first three chapters) to get feedback. Go in with an open mind and be prepared with lots of questions on how to take your writing forwards.

Please research the agents first to make sure you speak to a relevant one to get the most out of the session.

You do not need a day/evening ticket to the Romance Writing Festival to book.
