David & Dawn welcome you to Coombe House which sits behind our beautiful, mature garden, just a leisurely walk hardly more than a few minutes from the picture perfect village of Bourton-on-the-Water, fondly known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds'. Our seven tastefully decorated rooms are all en-suite, and after breakfast you can either set about exploring our glorious 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', or take a few minutes in the quiet of our residents' lounge before venturing out.

GREAT PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and conscientious person at a small but very successful B&B in Bourton-on-the-Water.

Position is available from the Monday 14th July until the end of October up to 7 days per week, depending on business needs, and offers a competitive hourly rate. This could potentially be covered by two people

Usually 3/4 hours per day with a start time of 8:15am
Responsibilities include helping with cooked breakfasts, ironing, general housekeeping and preparing rooms for new guests arrivals.

I’m genuinely chuffed to say that after a little while having slipped down in the rankings, Coombe House is now ranked back at No.1 in the Cotswolds by Tripadvisor in the category of “B&B’s & Inns” by Travellers Choice.
I cannot overstate the importance of Dawn’s influence in making Coombe House into something we are so proud of. Sometimes I feel like I’m just a caretaker for her legacy here…. I still wing it every day 😬.
Thanks to every single person who supported us and now myself on this 8 year journey that hopefully is nowhere near over !!
