Two years running now , my business has won the 'trip advisor certificate of excellence'

I put my heart and soul into my business and all my wonderful customers that keep returning and giving me good reviews, I'd like to thank you all!

This has been a beautiful journey, a struggle at times, but days like this remind me why I do it!

The beginning of a busy weekend!
Over here at the fir trees we are feeding 130 at a clients house!

Call us the fir trees party planners as we organised everything for the dj, the marquee and security, all the way down to the dance floor and the colour theme!

My beautiful waitress' , waiters and bar staff will be in full force!

will be doing the DJing!

Gonna make this a night to remember!

Jingle bells Jingle bells..

With Halloween round the corner it can only mean one thing.. We are all starting our pre-Christmas panic!

Presents, food, decorations, more food!
So much to sort out , with so little time!

Well to take the strain off, from the 1st of December, over here at the Fir Trees we are having an amazing 3 course roast dinner luncheon/ dinner
(( including wine or beer))

with festive music, crackers, decorations..THE LOT!

serving groups as small as 6 ...or as big as 24! Leave it all up to us!

So get the gang together, name us a date..sit back and relax!

A Saturday night in, with Rosalind and friends!

Come down to the fir trees and host your own evening, last night was a blast!
Hot tub along side Creme De Cassis mixed with bubbly, then canapés with drinks and chatter before a 3 corse sit down meal.
But this was Rosalind's idea, Taylor make your own evening with a menu of completely your choice!

Maybe you'd prefer a BBQ?
Maybe you'd prefer sea food?

On the 7th of June we attended at a 40th birthday party at a customers house in Ware. Fir Trees fine dining/catering and Ace Discos combined for this one!

We organised the food, the DJ, the bar, the dance floor and the amazing marquee!
The party started at 6.30pm and continued on to 5.30am!, the work never ended!

On arrival, guests were greeted with canopes and cocktails, then the bar opened and the party began!, ran and stocked by the Fir Trees staff.

Then at 9.30 serving a international buffet for 100!

We where also joined by the wickedly talented "Rat Pack" rapper and hip hop DJ.

Id like to take this time to thank the amazingly, professional and hard working team i am privileged to have behind myself and Robert.

AND a VERY SPECIAL thank you to Andrew Sanders for being more than a help, and working so hard for Ace Discos AND the Fir Trees, you make and excellent barman and we all found out,...quite the dancer too!

I am very privileged to announce that this Thursday we are throwing a luncheon for the Apsley senior citizens club, and gracing us with her presence is a lady of age ( that age being 102 years old!)

They will be having fish and chips, with peas and a strawberry jelly desert!

The following day is preparation time for the Saturdays function!

Baring in mind we have planned and organised the entire event from the marquees to the live band!

Robert will be doing the disco!
And I will be I charge of the alcohol and food!

I cannot wait to be doing this event with my new young beautiful team!

This week we have had the ladies that get taught to make beautiful curtains by the lovely Victoria Hammond (the interior designer)
They have been fed and watered every night, and Sunday night was sea food pasta with a side salad of mozzarella, basal, cherry tomatoes, and olive oil.

Monday night was salmon, Jersey royal potatoes, and English asparagus with a creamy sauce.

Tuesday was a Mexican Aztec pie with a red cabbage , lettuce , kidney beans, and a creamy vinaigrette.

Wednesday was sword fish with baby sautéed potatoes and green beans
And the cocktail for Wednesday was a mojito

Today is tandoori chicken with a tamarin sauce and special fried rice.
Tonight's cocktail is a beautifully English summertime pimms

Two lovely ladies (from the curtain course) have been staying for 5 nights, having dinner every night, and I've been enjoying there company!

Shared this meal l, they had never had couscous like this before and loved it!
